The high school kids leading the worship music. |
The chaplains at the hospital have recently asked the missionaries if they are willing to lead a service once a quarter in the wards.

Ethan and I praying with a patient and her child. |
Today was the first of those services. We split into 2 groups and visited the four different wards to share music, prayer, and a Bible story with the people there. After we were done talking, we split into pairs and went around to pray with the patients. My group included all of my students and a few adults so we paired one student with one adult to try and get the kids experience in personal evangelism.

In the 2 wards that our group visited, we had 4 people, that we know of, pray to accept Jesus. Praise God! I have included pictures of 3 of them.

Sam recommitted his life today |
Please pray for these new believers that they were sincere in their commitment and that they will continue to grow in their relationship with God.

George (on right) also accepted Christ! |
I wanted to draw your attention to one other patient in particular. His name is Peter and he is a paraplegic. Last Thursday was the 20th anniversary of when he came to the hospital. Twenty years ago, while sitting in church, the roof of the church collapsed and the center beam fell on Peter breaking his back. He lives in the hospital and spends most of his time in his bed. A number of years ago, a doctor sent Peter an electric wheelchair so he is able to enjoy going outside. Unfortunately, the wheel chair often breaks so we try to keep up on the maintenance in order to make his life more enjoyable.Through these 20 years, Peter has remained very optimistic and happy. He still follows God with all his heart and enjoys sharing his story with all who come to visit him.

Please pray for us as we will be meeting soon to discuss the renewal of our contract and deciding whether or we will be staying here another year.
